Welcome to Deutschpause! I’m Anni, and I’m here to change the way you think about learning German. With a PhD in Linguistics and more than 15 years of experience as an online language teacher, I’ve seen it all. But I’m not just a teacher; I’m a tech enthusiast and a lifelong language learner myself.
Originally from Germany, I now call Spain my home. This move taught me firsthand that mastering a language is about so much more than just rules—it’s about culture, connection, and real-life communication. I know exactly how it feels to navigate a new language every day, and I bring that empathy and practical experience into every lesson I create.
At Deutschpause, we skip the dusty textbook phrases. I focus on “Real German”—the way people actually speak, think, and interact. Using my background in neuro-linguistics, I design my digital courses to work with your brain, not against it, making learning faster and more intuitive. Willkommen bei Deutschpause! Ich bin Anni, deine Expertin für die deutsche Sprache. Mit einem Doktortitel in Linguistik und über 15 Jahren Erfahrung als Online-Lehrerin weiß ich: Grammatik ist wichtig, aber Sprache ist lebendig.
Ursprünglich aus Deutschland stammend, lebe ich heute im sonnigen Spanien. Warum das wichtig für dich ist? Weil ich selbst jeden Tag erfahre, was es bedeutet, eine Sprache im echten Leben zu meistern – mit all den kulturellen Fettnäpfchen und Erfolgserlebnissen. Ich bin selbst leidenschaftliche Sprachlernerin und liebe es, modernste Technologie zu nutzen, um das Lernen effizienter zu gestalten.
Bei mir lernst du kein “Lehrbuch-Deutsch”, das nach Staub riecht. Wir tauchen tief ein in das echte Deutsch, inklusive der kulturellen Nuancen, die man in keinem Standardkurs findet.
